A thrilling two-day event, the Pokémon MEZASTAR "Tag Battle Challenge!" is coming back this May! This is your chance to team up with a friend, show off your battling skills, and win exclusive prizes.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 9th, and Sunday, May 10th, starting from 11:00 AM, at FairPrice Xtra - Parkway Parade MEZASTAR Stadium!

Grab a friend and Battle it out!

The primary goal of the Tag Battle Challenge is all about teamwork. Players will team up to battle against in-game Trainers using the Special Tag Battle Mode. Let's aim for a high score!

Simply participate in the event, and you will be eligible to redeem a Special Meza Tag "Zacian".

How to Participate

Participation slots for this event are limited. To secure your chance to compete, we highly recommend pre-registering online.

*Requeue is NOT ALLOWED. For this event, each player is allowed to play ONLY ONCE per day at each event location, regardless of raffle draw or walk-in.

Pre-Registration Closes: Monday, May 4th, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

Slot Announcement: Successful applicants from the pre-registration raffle will be announced on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026.

On the day of the event, please arrive at the venue approximately 30 minutes before the time listed in the Slot announcement.

A limited number of slots may be available for walk-in registration starting at 11:00 AM each day, subject to availability.

*When you register on-site, we will give you a ticket that indicates your designated time slot. After registration, please come back at that time to begin your battle.

For the more competitive and skilled trainers, a high-score competition will be running concurrently.

The top-scoring pair each day will win a special prize!

You can battle the same Trainers you'll face in the event by playing the "Special Mode" in Pokémon MEZASTAR!

Be sure to practice with a friend before the event!

The outcome of the battle and your score will also vary depending on the Pokémon of the Meza Tags you use! Try out different combinations before the main event and go into battle with your ultimate team!

*A play fee is required for each battle.

Event Rules and Regulations:

  • All participating players must queue and register personally to participate in the battle. STRICTLY, no queueing or registering on behalf is allowed. The organiser reserves the rights to reject registrations for such scenarios.
  • Pre-registered raffle holders have priority to play during their assigned timeslot.
  • ID verification is required for this event.
  • Walk-in registrations will close at 4PM daily. The organiser reserves the right to close registration and queue at any time prior to the end of the event time daily.
  • Requeue is NOT ALLOWED. For this event, each pair is allowed to play ONLY ONCE per day, regardless of raffle draw or walk-in.
  • If you miss your queue, you will be moved to the walk-in queue instead.
  • Players found playing a second game will be disqualified, and any prizes or rewards will not be given.
  • 1 (One) Pokémon Mezastar Tag will be dispensed from the machine after the challenge.
  • Players should prepare and have up to 6 Pokémon Mezastar Tags and the respective payment methods ready before participating in the challenge.
  • Meza Tag and Dynamax Band sharing is allowed, but only within your registered pair.
  • Players are allowed to use only their own Mezastar Tags (limited to Stardust Ver 1 to current version Tags) and Singapore launched promotional tags. Strictly no borrowing of tags and touching of other machine is allowed in the Battle Arena. Any modified or illegal fake Tags will not be allowed and will be disqualified from the tournament..
  • All Pokémon Mezastar Tags that are used in the competition must be placed on the machine throughout the battle, no restarts will be allowed once the battle starts.

  • Support Pokémon Tickets cannot be used in this tournament.
  • ONLY official Dynamax Band can be used in the tournament. Any players caught using fake or modified products will be disqualified immediately and the prize forfeited.
  • Players are to raise their hands after the battle and wait for the event marshal to register their score. Tapping away the score screen or failure to call for the event marshal to record score will be strictly disqualified immediately.
  • All scores will be recorded on the official queue card that will be provided to the participant before they enter the battle area. Scores recorded on the card is final and no disputes will be entertained.
  • Players will be disqualified if they lose their queue card.
  • In the event of a tie, players will play an additional round to determine the winner.
  • A participation prize Meza Tag is given to players after the challenge.
  • Any form of cheating or breaking of the Pokémon Mezastar in store tournament rules will be disqualified. The organiser reserves the right to replace any winners if he/she is found to be disqualified. The organiser's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into by the organiser in relation to that decision.
  • In the spirit of sportsmanship, the top-scoring pair may continue to participate on Day 2. However, they are not eligible to receive another Trophy.
  • The top-scoring pair must retain the same partners if they choose to participate again on Day 2.
  • The participant understands and agrees that any personal data provided by the participant will be held confidential by the organiser and will only be used, disclosed, stored and processed by the organiser pursuant to the purposes of participating in the Pokémon Mezastar in-store tournament or any other marketing purposes.
  • This event may be photographed and videographed. Your presence at this event is deemed as your consent to being photographed and videographed.
  • Winners who fail to be present or present their scorecard during the prize presentation will be disqualified, and the next top scoring pair will be promoted to the next rank.
  • The organiser reserves the rights to change any rules at any point in time.
