MEZASTAR Trainers, Get Ready for the big event!

The Pokémon MEZASTAR CARNIVAL is happening at Sunway Velocity this March! Join us for a weekend full of excitement and celebration, test your skills, and take part in our special activities to receive exclusive gifts!

The Ultimate Challenge to crown the No. 1 MEZASTAR player in Malaysia will also be held. Be sure to drop by and cheer for the Finalists!

· 4 Area Winners + 15 Pre-match Winners will be awarded a Special T-shirt

· Top 50 Winners during the event will be awarded the Special Meza Tag "Mew" (Gold)

· All Participants: Get a Special Meza Tag "Mew" (Silver) to commemorate your participation!

Ultimate Challenge Final Match on 29th March (Sun)

· All Finalists during the event will be awarded the Special Meza Tag "Zygarde" (Red)

· Top 3 Scorers will be awarded an Acrylic Trophy

How to Participate

Registration will begin at the venue at 10:30 AM on 28th March (Sat).

After registration, the play order will be announced to participants.

*The final registration will close at 4:15 PM on Saturday.

 

Train for Victory!

You can battle the same Trainer you'll face in the event by playing the "Special Mode" in Pokémon MEZASTAR!

Be sure to practise before the event!

The outcome of the battle and your score will also vary depending on the Pokémon of the Meza Tags you use! Try out different combinations before the main event and go into battle with your ultimate team!

Battle Rules and Regulations

  • All participating players must queue personally to participate in the battle. STRICTLY, no queuing on behalf is allowed. The organiser reserves the rights to reject registrations for such scenarios.
  • Each player may participate in the challenge ONLY ONCE.
  • Players must present Malaysian NRIC or National/Overseas Passport for identification purposes. Names registered will be as per official documents.
  • Pre-match: 1 (One) Pokémon Mezastar Tag will be dispensed from the machine after the challenge.
    Final match: All battles will be played on Free Play mode. No Mezastar Tags will be dispensed after the game.
  • Players should prepare and have up to 6 Pokémon Mezastar Tags and the respective payment methods ready before participating in the challenge.
  • Players are allowed to use only their own Mezastar Tags (limited to Version 1 to current version) and Malaysia launched promotional tags.
  • Strictly no borrowing of Tags and touching of other machines is allowed in the Battle Arena. Any modified or illegal fake Tags will not be allowed and will result in disqualification of player from the event.
  • All Pokémon Mezastar Tags that are used in the competition must be placed on the machine throughout the battle. No restarts will be allowed once the battle starts.
  • Support Pokémon Tickets can be used in the tournament.
  • Only the official Pokémon Dynamax Band can be used in the tournament. Any players caught using fake or modified products will be disqualified immediately.
  • Players are to raise their hands after the battle and wait for the event marshal to register their score. Tapping away the score screen or failure to call for the event marshal to record score will be strictly disqualified immediately.
  • All scores will be recorded on the official score card that will be provided to the participant before they enter the Battle Arena. Please check and ensure the score recorded is correct, any disputes after the player left the Battle Arena will not be entertained.
  • Players will be disqualified if they lose their score card.
  • Any form of cheating or breaking of the event rules will result in disqualification of player. The organiser reserves the right to replace any winners if he/she is found to be disqualified. The organiser's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into by the organiser in relation to that decision.
  • The participant understands and agrees that any personal data provided by the participant will be held confidential by the organiser and will only be used, disclosed, stored and processed by the organiser pursuant to the purposes of participating in the Pokémon Mezastar event or any other marketing purposes.
  • This event may be photographed and videographed. Your presence at this event is deemed as your consent to being photographed and videographed.
  • In the event of a tie, players will play an additional round to determine the winner. (Applicable to Top 3 only)
  • Prizes will only be awarded to winners who are present on the day itself. All winners are required to report back onsite for Prize Presentation.
  • The Prize Presentation is scheduled at 5:00 PM for the distribution of prizes (excluding participation awards).
  • Top 50 players in each category must be present at 5:00 PM. Any player not present by this time will be deemed absent by the organiser and may result in prize forfeiture.
  • Prize Presentation may be delayed if the event runs longer than expected.
  • Winners who fail to attend the Prize Presentation are required to present their score card the following day at 5:00 PM to collect their rewards. (Applicable ONLY to Day 1 (Saturday) Winners, excluding Top 3)
  • Winners who fail to be present or present their score card during the Prize Presentation will be disqualified, and the next winner will be promoted to the next rank. (Applicable to Top 3 only)
  • In the spirit of sportsmanship, Top 3 winners may continue to participate. However, they are not eligible to receive another Top 3 prize at any location for the rest of the season.
  • The organiser reserves the rights to change any rules at any point in time.
