HOW TO PLAY

Dynamax! Mega Evolution! Z-Move!

Take the advantage in Battle with lots of awesome moves!
Take the chance and catch 'em all!

Dynamax Chance!

  • Pokémon with a Dynamax Icon can go through a Dynamax!

    Send out Pokémon that can Dynamax into Battle, and they'll have a Dynamax Chance for their first attack!

    Make a successful roulette spin to Dynamax your Pokémon!

    *You can Dynamax 1 time per 1 Battle. If you have multiple Pokémon that can Dynamax, only one of them can Dynamax in Battle.

  • Playing through a Dynamax Chance

    If you get a Dynamax Chance, the console will ask if you have a Dynamax Band!

    Get a Dynamax Band
    To Dynamax
    every single time!

  • Press the buttons to charge up your power!

    Hit the buttons more and more to build up your Dynamax Icon even further!

  • Stop the roulette by pressing the button!

    Stop the roulette with an X in the pink circle for a fail, and stop with a Dynamax Icon for a success!

    Different Dynamax Icons give you different Dynamax Levels!

    Get higher Dynamax Levels for even more Poké Ene!

    There are three types of Dynamax Icons! Dynamax Level

  • Get a success to Dynamax your Pokémon!

    Your Pokémon will become even cooler!

    You'll have higher Poké Ene and get to use special Dynamax Moves!

    Live in the thrill of the moment with Dynamax Moves!

  • Get a Dynamax No Matter What with a Dynamax Band!

    Play with a Dynamax Band to get rid of all X marks on the roulette and play with all Dynamax Icons!

    How to Play with the Dynamax Band

Mega Evolution Chance!

  • Pokémon with a Mega Evolution Symbol can go through a Mega Evolution!

    Send Mega Evolution Pokémon into Battle to get a Mega Evolution Chance on its first attack!

    Succeed in lining up the Mega Evolution Symbol on-screen to make your Pokémon perform a Mega Evolution!

    *You will only encounter one Mega Evolution Chance per play session. If you have multiple Pokémon that can perform a Mega Evolution, only one of them can go through a Mega Evolution in Battle.

  • Playing through a Mega Evolution Chance

    If you get a Mega Evolution Chance, try to line up the Mega Evolution Symbol!

    Press the button right as the Mega Evolution Symbols from the left and right come together!

    Get a success to make your Pokémon perform a Mega Evolution!

Z-Move Chance!

  • Use the Z-Move, "Gigavolt Havoc!"

    Send Z-Move Pokémon into Battle to get a Z-Move Chance on its first attack!

    Strike a powerful pose while following on-screen instructions to really power UP your Z-Move!

    *You can only use one Z-Move per play session. Any attempts at using additional Z-Moves will result in the Pokémon performing a normal attack.

  • Playing through a Z-Move Chance

    If you get a Z-Move Chance, choose if you'd like to use your Z-Move!

    The left button turns blue while the right button turns orange. Press the one that lights up!

    If you press the buttons right, you'll build up Z-Power for the most powerful Z-Move ever!
