Beat Wild Pokémon in Battles to catch them!
Choose an Area with a Boss you'd like to take on in Battle.
In Battle, choose your attacking Pokémon and slide the Meza Tag forward in its lane!
Hit the buttons over and over to attack!
Can you get your hands on the best Star Pokémon?
Playing in "Battle and Catch!" Mode

Choose "Battle and Catch!" Mode! -
Choose an Area!
You'll find different Bosses in each Area!
Choose an Area with a Boss you'd like to take on!

A Pokémon appeared!
It's a Wild Pokémon!
The Boss Pokémon comes out in the middle, while any Pokémon on its sides are the Boss's cronies.
Watch out for super powerful foes!
*Boss Pokémon are not always Star Pokémon.

Bring out your Pokémon!
If you have a Lucky Star Disc or a Support Pokémon Ticket, place it on the Multi-Scanner to load it into the console!
Place your Meza Tag on the lane and push your Pokémon forward!
Press the button to lock it in and start the Battle!

Select a Pokémon to Use in Your Attack!
Push forward a Meza Tag to decide which Pokémon attacks!
Choosing the right Pokémon to attack is key in winning Battles!

It's Your Turn to Attack!
Attack RoulettePush the button to stop the Attack Roulette!
Bigger numbers increase your attack power more!
Land on a high number with the Attack Roulette and deal tons of damage to your opponent!

It's Your Turn to Attack!
Hit the ButtonsHit the buttons as fast as you can to land your move!
The buttons change color as you hit them more, increasing in attack power with every hit!
Once the buttons show rainbow colors, you've reached MAX attack power!
Press, press, press to the MAX and get to that rainbow!

Opponent's Turn to Attack
The opponent Pokémon is going to make a move!
Don't worry about any kind of Defense.

Last Catch Time!
Once your Battle is over, Insert Coin(s) to throw a Poké Ball!
If you catch more than 1 Pokémon, you can choose which one you'd like as a Meza Tag!
You can still make the Pokémon you didn't choose into a Meza Tag by Inserting Coin(s)!
When throwing a Poké Ball, press the button to stop the Ball Roulette!
There are four types of Poké Balls!

Master Ball
To catch a Pokémon, throw a Poké Ball at it to get its Meza Tag!
You can catch a Pokémon under these three conditions:-
When it's a Boss Pokémon's Catch Time

When the Battle ends

When you have no more Pokémon to Battle with

Get a Meza Tag!
You get the Meza Tag for the Pokémon you catch!
After your battle, it's Catch Time!

Watch out for Bonus Catch Time at the end of Battle!
*The number of Tall Grass patches you see in Bonus Catch Time will differ depending on how many Meza Tags you got during Battle and Catch.
You have even more chances to catch a Pokémon!
Deal lots of damage now! Everyone attack!

Super lucky event!
You'll sometimes see an "Everyone Attack!" event on your last turn in Battle.
Use your Pokémon to attack all at once!
It's your chance to deal tons of damage!

Make sure to push all your Meza Tags forward to attack!
Slide all your Meza Tags forward to see a "Success!" on screen!
It's time to use your Pokémon to attack all at once!
Your Support Pokémon will join in the attack too!

Hit those buttons fast!
Watch as your Pokémon attack the opponents one after another!
Hit them as fast as you can!
